Few albums in rock history hit with the force, vision and enduring power of Who's Next — the 1971 masterpiece from The Who that transformed the band from hitmakers into arena-filling rock legends.

Now, this landmark recording receives the ultimate audiophile treatment as an Ultra High Quality Record (UHQR), pressed at Quality Record Pressings (QRP) on ultra-pure Clarity Vinyl, delivering a listening experience worthy of one of rock's most celebrated albums.

Originally released as the band's fifth studio album, Who's Next is widely considered one of the greatest rock albums ever made. Certified triple-platinum and endlessly influential, it produced some of the most iconic songs in rock history, including "Baba O'Riley," "Behind Blue Eyes," and the thunderous anthem "Won't Get Fooled Again" — tracks that remain cornerstones of classic rock radio and concert stages to this day.

The album emerged from the ambitious creative mind of Pete Townshend, who originally conceived the material as part of a futuristic rock opera project titled Lifehouse. While the full narrative proved too complex to stage, the songs distilled from that vision became something extraordinary: a collection of explosive rock performances fused with pioneering use of synthesizers, philosophical lyricism, and the unmistakable power of the band at its peak. From the hypnotic sequencer pulse that opens "Baba O'Riley" to the cathartic scream that closes "Won't Get Fooled Again," the album captures Townshend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon operating at full creative throttle.

Rolling Stone currently ranks the album at No. 77 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and lauds it as The Who's best studio album. It's the sound of a band refining its explosive live energy into a studio masterpiece that remains as thrilling today as it was more than five decades ago.

This UHQR edition elevates that experience to an entirely new level. Pressed on 200-gram Clarity Vinyl at QRP, the noise-free formulation eliminates carbon black to reveal unprecedented transparency, deeper low-level detail, and breathtaking dynamics. Every element - from the thunder of Keith Moon's drums to the shimmering synthesizer textures and Townshend's slashing guitar — emerges with stunning realism.
